I finally decided to poke my head in over here and post! For my 8 x 8s I've decided to go with my favorite medium-of-the-moment - encaustics! I've decided to call my group "Obsessive" as encaustics bring out the OCD in me. I can spend hours using an 1/8" wide scraper to carefully scrape back layer after layer of wax. And I enjoy every single second of it! Kinda sick, eh? I've finished 4, only photographed 3 so far. I don't want to show the complete pieces - but will share some closeups.
