Six of them

Not done yet, but here's six of them. Of course, you don't know what I have left to do with these, but I do hope I've peaked your interest!

I'm finding that there are MANY logistical challenges with this project. Challenges that come with the creative process and challenges that come with being the one responsible for where the show will exhibit (long story, but will post more when I have more info). Sigh...it's a good thing I'm tenaceous!

crazy eights

This was intended as more of an experiment than a final version but since it's the only thing I've done so far I'm thinking it may end up in the final eight. It's a poly-litho print on an acrylic painted panel. No subtleties here -- it's all about the eights. :)

This will be my 2nd post and I have been extremely bogged down with work. But in the wee hours of the night I have been doing some work. So here is my latest. I changed around some concepts a little bit so that I would not be so obvious as to what I am doing. Leaving a little play for the mind. Still have more to do. Than on to the little details that I hope come across in the media I am trying to push this on to.

OK, I am finally caught up on both groups now. Wow, we're 1/2 way done already!

1/8 of a Piece

I've posted here a teensy (1/8, of course) bit of a piece I'm working on. I don't want to give away the mystery. It's different from anything I've done before, probably because I'm freshly back from Artfest '08 and loaded up on new techniques I'm dying to try. I'm also anxious to explore new themes and my less-than-whimsical side. But not to worry, the whimsical side will still be there for the 8x8 show as well. Hey, if I had 8 sides I'd try to get them all in the show!
