Quick Concept Sketch

After many drooling hours of pain and suffering my mind converged upon a concept.

So here it is.

8 x 8 x 8

In Chinese numerology, the number 8 is considered to be the luckiest number. Any dates with this number are seen as lucky dates. That would make 8/8/08 a significantly lucky date due to the occurence of the number 8 in the month, day and year.
On August 8, 2008, 8 artists will exhibit each 8 pieces of work in an 8 x 8 size at 105 Studios located on 105 4th St. in the heart of downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. These works will include mixed media, photography, painting, 3-D, digital and whatever else strikes their muse!
This blog was created for the artists to post their muses and images during the process.
Mark your calendars for the opening reception on Friday Aug. 8th from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m.
The show will be on exhibition until September 7th, 2008.
